I partnered up with the infamous Cold Stone Franchisee Fred Willis to own and operate Cold Stone Creamery Location #20014,
in Phoenix on Cactus and Tatum Blvd.
Fred and I first met at Tempe Marketplace when I was slogging through sophomore year at ASU and applied for my first job at Cold Stone to pay my rent, power, and water bills.
I quickly became a closer, opener, assistant manager, led in sales, and eventually worked with Fred on the first few catering events that led to buying and furnishing a Cold Stone Creamery trailer and now has grown into a substantial business under the
Willis & Willis Corp. Over the years Fred and Donna have become my trusted advisors, mentors, and in many ways Family.
Buying, owning, and operating this business has been one of my most difficult undertakings, but it has also brought me much joy, friendships, connection, and experiences that are invaluable to me.

Our journey began with a humble fascination for the magic that mushrooms bring to the world.
Picture a lab under a staircase, a handful of spores, and a dream of cultivating extraordinary culinary and medicinal treasures of nature. Against all hurdles of cultivating the fruits of forests and rain in the deep desert city of Phoenix, I planted the seeds – or rather, spores – of what would through much trial and tribulation become Fae Foods.
